Rules for Competition
Eligibility
Anyone who ballroom dances is eligbible to sign up, whether they are affiliated with a University or not.
Dance Styles and Levels
We will be offering International and American Style Dances, both Standard and Latin.
Dancers of all levels are eligible to compete in the Brandeis Dance Competiton
Rules
-Newcomer: Started dancing January 2014 of later. Costumes are permitted. Cost to register is $30.
-Bronze: no time restriction. Up to bronze syllabus. Costumes are permitted. Cost to register is $30.
-Silver: no time restriction. Up to silver syllabus. Costumes are permitted. Cost to register is $30.
-Gold: no time restriction. Up to gold syllabus. Costumes are permitted. Cost to register is $30.
-Novice, Pre-Champ, Champ, Open levels: No step or time restrictions, costumes are permitted, no lifts or aerials are permitted. Open choreography is allowed.
